Rev. Sherri Martinez, Christian Education

Pastor Sherri has lived in the Bay Area all of her life.  At the age of 16 she accepted Jesus Christ into her heart as Lord and Savior and at the age of 19 she felt the call of God to ministry and began attending Bay Area Bible Institute in 1989.  In 1993 she graduated with honors, and, in 2000 she received her Ministerial Credentials.

Rev. Sherri is married to Fortunato Martinez who also lived in the Bay Area for most of his life.  He is part of  our  Worship team and plays the Guitar.  They met In 1999  and in 2001 they were married.  Fortunato began attending the School of Urban Missions and graduated 2006 with his diploma in Theology.

Together they have worked in Youth Ministry, Youth Mentoring, Christian Education, Counseling and Church Planting.  The two of them have a passion for serving God and His people and want to spend the rest of their lives doing just that.
