Paul Roman
associate pastor
Pastor Paul W. Roman was born in Oakland, California and was raised by a single mother of three in the Decoto district of Union City, California. He married his childhood sweetheart, Rebecca. They have two beautiful children, Joshua and Cassandra. They are also the proud grandparents of Vincent, Jubilee, Justus, and Avianna.
Pastor Paul Roman is a graduate of the Latin American Bible Institute. He has served in various capacities such as Married Couples, Sunday school, Prison Ministry, Worship, Youth, Men, Deacon and many community outreaches. Since 2006 Pastor Paul has been on Pastoral Staff. He has a heart to encourage the discouraged, to see broken and shattered lives restored, to see the hurting be healed and made whole by the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul’s passion is to spread and see the Gospel of Jesus Christ reach Hayward and the surrounding areas, giving life, hope and freedom to a dying world.
Chantelle Alvarez
associate pastor
Pastor Chantelle Alvarez was born in Manteca, California and settled in the Bay Area in her early teenage years. She is married to her first love, Javier, and together they have raised five children of their own as well as numerous others that the Lord has brought into their family.
Pastor Chantelle is a graduate of the East Bay Urban Bible Training Center. She has served as Head Deaconess, Intercessory Prayer Director, Children's Ministry, Recovery Groups, and in our Soup Kitchen. In 2018, she received her ministerial credentials and joined the Pastoral Staff at Templo De La Cruz. She is also an aspiring author and writes a weekly blog called "She Dances Over Graves" that is filled with wisdom and encouragement for women.
Pastor Chantelle has been transformed by the love of Christ and she is passionate about leading others deeper into His love. She has a heart for the body of Templo De La Cruz and for the city of Hayward to see the dreams that God has for them fulfilled.
JACQUELINE RAMOS
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Pastor Jackie Ramos was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx borough of New York City. It was there that she met her loving husband, Rev. Ramon Ramos who went home to be with the Lord in 2015. Following God’s call to California, they established a life in the Bay Area where they raised their 3 children; Jessica, Raymond Jr, and Mayra. She is also a proud grandmother of 7.
Pastor Jackie has enjoyed over 30 years of bivocational ministry in various capacities: Christian Education Sectional Rep, Women’s Ministry, and Pastoral Leadership and Administration. Pastor Jackie graduated from Latin American Bible Institute and has served as an adjunct instructor of theology and hermeneutics for both LABI and LATS extension campuses. As an active minister with the Assemblies of God, she often enjoys itinerant preaching both here and abroad in Argentina & Cuba. She is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Pastor Jackie’s life passion has always been the building up of the body of Christ, to assure none perish for lack of knowledge. Her heart for the education and formation of God’s people is what drives her service to the Church.
